Government of Jammu and Kashmir has passed the new excise policy 2025 - 2026, effective from 01st April, 2025. Highlights of the policy are: - The licenses have to pay additional 50% annual fee for serving liquor in the rooftop/terrace/balcony. - The license fee for serving liquor in hotels will be range from Rs.4 Lakhs to Rs. 5 Lakhs. - The licensee holders having pool in the hotel premises has to take extra necessary steps to avoid any accident.
